One question we get a lot is, "What kinds of content should I be sharing on social media?"

There are two umbrella topics that we suggest every time: education and personal--and a great way to show the more personal side of a business is doing “behind the scenes” posts.

Maybe it’s because deep down we want to feel a sense of connection and we find it in those unscripted moments? Maybe we’re just nosy by nature? Whatever the reason the fact remains that people WANT to see the sausage being made.

Unless...you know...you actually make sausage. Then maybe no BTS for you, okay? 🙂

Behind the scenes posts allow people to see the “human” side of what you’re doing. But there’s another perk too! It allows potential clients a peek into just how much work actually goes into a product shoot, restocking inventory, physically making the jewelry you craft, or whatever it is that you do on a day-to-day basis.
